The 2025 Wrap-Up

For someone who claim he didn't know anything about Project 25 during his campaign run, Donald Trump sure did start out 2025 unfolding nearly everything in Project 25...

  • With the re-election of Donald Trump, 2025 came out swinging with his buddy Elon Musk and his chainsaw leading the way with DODGE cuts.

  • For many, DODGE became the "boogie man", as many government jobs were lost, many were forced into early retirement, businesses lost government contracts and some businesses were even forced to close because of it all.

  • For the first several months, it was not a pretty sight. The irony of it all, through all of the casualties left behind, Elon Musk and Trump parted ways, due to policy differences and DODGE became no more.

  • Along with DODGE, another buzz word hit the political scene, DEI.

  • The DEI attack went heavy towards anything attached to African-Americans, be it jobs, education, history or culture. Any progress that was made by African-Americans, were attacked, in the name of DEI.

  • With the swift and dramatic changes, it was plain to see Trump had no regard for the constitution, with no checks or balances, He came in running the oval office like Suge Knight at Death Row Records.

  • Tariffs, Tariffs, Tariffs

  • Eggs, Eggs, Eggs

  • Ice Ice Baby!!! Ice ramped up its domestic terrorist assault on non-Americans and yes, even some Americans.

  • Middle East: Intensified conflict in Gaza, heightened Israel-Hezbollah tensions, Houthi attacks in the Red Sea prompting US/Israeli strikes, and direct Israeli strikes on Iran.

  • Ukraine: War continued with shifting dynamics, including Ukrainian attacks on Russian oil, and revised peace efforts amid stalled NATO talks and focus on eastern regions.

  • Africa: A devastating civil war in Sudan continued, marked by mass killings, while tensions rose over Ethiopia's Red Sea access.

  • Asia: Brief but intense India-Pakistan clashes occurred, featuring the first drone battle, and tensions persisted with North Korea.

  • For the first time in this campaign, the U.S. conducted a strike within Venezuela's borders:

    • Target: A port facility or "dock area" used for loading narcotics, specifically linked by U.S. officials to the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua.

    • Responsible Agency: While President Trump initially only acknowledged a "major explosion," reports confirmed the CIA conducted the drone strike

  • The Sean "P-Diddy" Combs trial took front and center, as it captivated the national public in ways that very few celebrity trials have. It became a slippery mess. TMZ and 50 Cent each released a several part documentary covering the P Diddy fiasco.

  • Both political sides called for the Epstein Files to be released to the public ASAP.

  • Extreme Conservative, Charlie Kirk was gunned down, for the nation to see, at one of his public debates. His murder, once again, highlighted the huge divide in the ideological, cultural and political differences in America.

  • With his political talk show, "Straight Shooter" on Sirius XM (POTUS Channel 124), as well as his You Tube show, "The Stephen A Show", Stephen A Smith's name became more "topical" in the realm of politics, as he became more of a mouth piece for "conservative" views and his persistent attack toward Democrats, any anti-Trump talk and black women.

  • U.S. Representative from Texas, Jasmine Crockett had drawn more headlines due to her verbal sparring with Donald Trump and Marjorie Taylor Greene.

  • Government Shutdown

  • Former Trump ally and supporter Marjorie Taylor Greene steps down from her U.S. Representative seat after her fall out with Trump, due to her calling for the immediate release of the Epstein files, as Trump called her traitor.

  • A.I. (Artificial Intelligence) became a huge topic, as its technological advances began to invade places it hadn't before.

  • Staying in the technological lane, streaming continued its takeover, as many Game Stop video game stores closed its doors, leaving many gamers very little choice but to download and stream from their gaming systems.

  • Streaming has seen its steady movement in the sports world as well, as the NFL, NBA and Championship Boxing have moved many of its events from network TV to streaming apps.

  • Starting off the new year was Ohio State defeating Notre Dame 34-23 at the college football national championship in Atlanta.

  • The Philadelphia Eagles defeat the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 at Superbowl LIX in New Orleans. Was it a changing of the guard and the end of an era? Or was it just a blimp on the radar for Mahomes and K.C?

  • Gervonte "Tank" Davis fought Lamont Roach, Jr to a controversial draw on March 1 in Brooklyn. It led to a rematch agreement between the two. The rematch was eventually canceled, as Tank decided to fight Youtuber Jake Paul. That fight would be canceled as well.

  • The OKC Thunder raised the Larry O'Brien trophy in June 22, as they defeated the Indiana Pacers 103-91, in 7 games, to win the NBA championship. Was that the end of the LeBron, Steph, KD era? Is it the beginning of the new generation of stars?....

  • Indiana Hosiers' star QB Fernando Mendoza won the 2025 Heisman Trophy on Dec 13th.
