Megan the Stallion Opens First Popeyes

Megan Thee Stallion officially opened her first Popeyes franchise in South Beach, Miami, on New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2025. This milestone marks her transition from brand partner to business owner, following her multi-unit development deal signed in 2021.

• Miami Franchise: Located on Washington Avenue, the new restaurant features a vibrant orange and turquoise aesthetic. During the grand opening, Megan personally greeted her "Hot Staff" and served the first customers.

• Hottie Sauce: Her collaboration began in October 2021 with the release of the "Hottie Sauce," a sweet and spicy condiment made with honey, cider vinegar, and Aleppo pepper.

• Co-Branded Merchandise: The partnership has included several "Thee Heat" and "Animegan" apparel drops, featuring items like bikinis, hoodies, and even a chicken tender plush dog toy.

• Philanthropy: As part of the deal, Popeyes and Megan made a six-figure donation to Houston Random Acts of Kindness.

• Business Ownership: Megan is a multi-unit franchisee, with a five-unit development agreement in place.
