Erykah Badu x The Alchemist Make For Great Chemistry

There have been a lot of great artist/producer collaborations through the years. Not just on singles, but the collaboration for an entire album.

There are still some that we'd love to see, a "Dream Team" so to speak.

Well for many, Erykah Badu and The Alchemist have created that "Dream Team".

Erykah Badu and The Alchemist are collaborating on a new album titled "Abi & Alan", which is expected to be released on August 29th.

It will be Badu's first album in 15 years and her first major release since her 2015 mixtape, "But You Caint Use My Phone". The pair has already released a single, "Next To You," which samples Mobb Deep's "The Realest". They are also performing live dates leading up to the album's release. 

"Next To You" offers us the first single from their forthcoming album. It samples Mobb Deep's classic, "The Realest" and it does not disappoint.

We're not even going to bore you with a bunch of useless words to describe this gem.
