Thirty Four Enterprises LLC, "Media 101 For The Youth" was invited by Congressman David Trone, as he showcased a FREE, invitation only, advanced screening of “The Color Purple," which by the way was a brilliant movie. He was joined by members from the Black Mental Health Alliance and Senator Jill Carter, Delegate Cheryl Glenn, Dr. Elaine Simone, Pat Tunstall, Sarah Holley, and Laura Harpool.
The advanced screening was shown at the historic Charles Theater in downtown Baltimore.
The screening was sold out, as Trone included complementary popcorn and drink to those who attended.
Trone began the event by speaking of the importance of speaking on and recognizing the importance of Mental Health, as much of The Color Purple's content revolves around Mental Health issues.
