Black-Owned Fish Fry Business Expands Into More Than 1,200 Stores

Joe's Gourmet Fish Fry has announced an exciting new partnership with Inland Seafood. Through this new partnership, the Black-owned, family-operated business will enter into more than 1,200 Food Lion locations.

With financial assistance from his parents, he was able to grow the business into a successful brand that is available in Publix, Walmart and now 1,200 Food Lion locations Dowell III's new product will feature a harmonious blend of herbs and spices that compliments a variety of seafood. Moreover, Joe's Gourmet Fish Fry seasoning does not absorb oil which allows seafood to maintain a unique, crisp crunch. “It’s the best of both worlds,” Dowell said. “We bring a niche market of passionate fans while Inland brings marketing, manufacturing, and distribution expertise. During an appearance on Shark Tank, Daymond John asked to invest in the growing company.
