I know for most people, it is something that does not make any sense, whatsoever. Yet at the same time, if we will allow ourselves to place the emotional attachment, tradition and false religious ideology on the floor, for just one moment, we'll see how we've been deceived with lies and demonic forces, all in the name of God. Lets connect the dots.

God is about the TRUTH. Titus 1:2 states, " in the hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised long ages ago, ". Isaiah 65:16 states, " "Because he who is blessed in the earth Will be blessed by the God of truth; And he who swears in the earth Will swear by the God of truth; Because the former troubles are forgotten, And because they are hidden from My sight!". Finally, John 4:24 states, " God is a Spirit: and they that worship, must worship in spirit and in truth."

Now, lets look at the attributes of The devil, Satan, Lucifer or the great deceiver, in which it is sometimes called. Do remember, the devil (Satan) is a spirit and needs humans to do its work. In reference to Satan's agents and the children of Satan, John 8:44 states, " You are of your father the devil.... he does not stand in truth, because there is no truth in him, whenever he speaks a lie he speaks his own nature. For he is a liar and is the FATHER OF LIES." 2 Corinthians 11:14 states, "No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light." Ephesians 6:11 states, "Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil." 2 Timothy 3:13 states, " But evil men and impostors will proceed from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived."

On the very surface, lets look at the two names, Santa and Claus. Seems like nothing and no big deal right? However, what we find is, the devil's connection and presence, hidden, in plain sight. The Greek word, Anagram, which means the rearranging of letters of a word or phrase, to produce a new word or phrase. So, with Santa, if we rearrange the letters, it spells SATAN. We take Claus, rearrange the letters and it spells Lucas. The definition of the name Lucas is, "bright" or "shining". Lucas, Luke and Luscious are simply other names for Lucifer, which means, "bearer of light", or "morning star". So as we take that all into consideration and connect the dots, the name itself, Santa Claus, is actually Satan Lucas (Lucifer). Again, having the name hidden, in plain sight.

To innerstand why it is that Satan would want to deceive the people by pretending to be the innocent, jolly ol fella Santa Claus, parading around, stealing "the light", on God's son's "so-called" birthday (another lie), all the while carrying the attributes of God, lets take a look at the scriptures. As shared earlier, 2 Corinthians 11:14 "No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light." Isaiah 14:14 " I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High."

In short, Satan wants to be God-like and appear as God. What better way to do it, than to do so on the grand stage of the most recognizable, most celebrated holiday in the world.

Now I know many will say, "I know it's not about Santa or any of the other stuff, it's about Jesus"..."Jesus is the reason for the season", etc etc. However, Jesus, himself, would want nothing to do with such a celebration for "Him". You see, the everything surrounding the celebration of Christmas is drenched in lies. The day itself is a lie. December 25th, isn't Jesus' birthday. Parents lie to their kids about Santa, his existence, him riding reindeer and delivering presents all over the world overnight (he needs to work for UPS and FedEx), him seeing you and knowing what you're doing at all times, him having a list of good and bad, etc etc.(Sounds very much like God huh?)

Since it's about Jesus, what is done during Christmas that is about Jesus and a gift to Jesus? You say gift giving to loved ones? It's Jesus' birthday right? Lets just use as an example. On your child's or spouse's birthday, do you send other family members and perhaps friends and co-workers gifts and not your child or spouse? Doesn't make sense huh? That's the gist of Christmas. Oh, I know, it's not the gifts, it's the love you show, through the gifts, to your loved ones, that is the gift to Jesus, since you can't physically buy a gift for Jesus. The gifts given is not what pleases God, it's how we live and we best follow God's mandated word. What is "supposed" to be a time in which you celebrate Jesus' birth, in most cases from the day after Thanksgiving through Christmas eve is frantically spent focusing on gifts for other people, lots of parties, lots of eating and lots of drinking (alcohol in many cases). Lets be honest, how much time is actually spent thinking about Jesus, much less doing for Jesus. Regardless of all of the gifts given, participating in all of the traditions (the Christmas tree, the lights, wreaths, the candles, singing carols, the over abundance of spending money, etc) surrounding the lies, there's a price to pay, according to God's word:

Jeremiah 10:1-5

"1 Hear the word which the LORD speaks to you, O house of Israel. 2 Thus says the LORD: Do not learn the way of the Heathens; do not be dismayed at the signs of heaven, for the Heathens are dismayed at them. 3 For the customs of the peoples are futile; for one cuts a tree from the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the ax. 4 They decorate it with silver and gold; they fasten it with nails and hammers so that it will not topple. 5 They are upright, like a palm tree, and they cannot speak; they must be carried, because they cannot go by themselves. Do not be afraid of them, for they cannot do evil, nor can they do any good.”

The history and tradition of what we know today as Christmas, goes way beyond and before the birth of Christ. It's history and traditions are collaborations of Ancient Kemet (Heru) and (Horus), Babylon (Nimrod) mentioned in the bible and then Roman (Mithras) and (Jesus), among others.

Since God's word warns us to BEWARE of tradition (Col. 2:8), we shouldn't be surprised to find the Devil right in the middle of the world's most celebrated holiday. Lucifer's desire has always been to dethrone God and exalt himself (Isa. 14:12-15). He desires worship (Luke 4:7; II Ths. 2:3-4). Perhaps you've never thought of it, but please note how Satan robs God of His glory by spreading the Santa Claus tradition...

SANTA IS ETERNAL A child knows nothing of his beginning. To a child, Santa has just always existed.

GOD IS ETERNAL "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty." (Rev. 1:8)

SANTA LIVES IN THE NORTH Tradition holds that Santa Claus lives at the North Pole, a place ABOVE the rest of us.

JESUS CHRIST LIVES IN THE NORTH "Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King." (Psa. 48:2)

SANTA WEARS RED CLOTHING Santa wears a red furry suit.

JESUS CHRIST WEARS RED CLOTHING "And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God." (Rev. 19:13)

SANTA HAS WHITE HAIR Santa is always pictured as an old man with white hair like wool.

JESUS CHRIST HAS WHITE HAIR "His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;" (Rev. 1:14)

SANTA FLIES AROUND GIVING GIFTS Santa has the ability to defy the laws of gravity and fly around giving gifts to people.

JESUS CHRIST ASCENDED AND GAVE GIFTS UNTO MEN "But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men." (Eph. 4:7-8)

SANTA IS COMING SOON During the Christmas season it is emphasized over and over that "Santa is coming".

JESUS CHRIST IS COMING SOON "He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus." (Rev. 22:20)

SANTA IS OMNISCIENT Children are taught that Santa "knows when you've been good, and he knows when you've been bad".

JESUS CHRIST IS OMNISCIENT "The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good." (Pro. 15:3) "And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?" (Mat. 9:4)

SANTA IS OMNIPRESENT Santa must be omnipresent, because he has the ability to visit over a billion homes in a twenty-four hour period. That's over 1100 per second!

JESUS CHRIST IS OMNIPRESENT "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." (Mat. 18:20)

SANTA IS OMNIPOTENT He has the ability to carry presents for over a billion children.

JESUS CHRIST IS OMNIPOTENT "And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth." (Mat. 28:18)

SANTA HAS SPIRIT HELPERS CALLED ELVES Webster, 1828: "ELF...a spirit, the night-mar; a ghost, hag, witch"

JESUS CHRIST HAS SPIRIT HELPERS CALLED ANGELS "Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him." (Mat. 4:11)

Now that we've addressed the name Santa Claus and its connection to Satan, lets dig deeper into the history of Christmas and what it means today, IN THE SIGHT OF GOD.
