The good news is that he has been captured. But the ‘real sad news’ is how the judicial system allowed white privilege to prevail by allowing this man’s previous charges of assault, driving while intoxicated, and more, to be thrown out.
Now he has committed the Cardinal sin: killed not one, but two, police officers. Upon his arrest he was taken to the hospital. No surprise there. One can only imagine the shape he was in by the time police colleagues got a hold of him.
Scott Michael Greene, 46, was known to have a history of mental problems and run-ins with the law, according to what one law official told NBC news. He was also said to be “in dire straits.”
NBC News reports…
Greene was arrested at least four other times, Iowa court records show: in 2001 for assault causing bodily harm, which was dismissed; in 2010 for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, which was dismissed; in 2014 for interference with official acts, for which he paid a fine, and harassment in the second degree, for which he received suspended jail time.
FOUR TIMES they had this man in custody! What cause could possibly be suitable for dismissal!?
Oh yeah. I answered that question already.
